Dr. Syndey Soares, DC CAC
Dr. Sydney grew up on a small hobby farm in Southern, Ontario. She grew up riding horses, collecting eggs, and learning about the land around her. She graduated from Trent University with her undergraduate degree in Forensic Science. After battling with many injuries as a OUA soccer player and understanding the benefits that manual therapy can give she decided to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where she became a Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2022. Dr. Sydney decided to bring her love for all animals back into her life by furthering her studies and completing the extensive post-graduate program at the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre where she became a certified Animal Chiropractor.
Sydney has always had a passion and connection with animals. She grew up competing and riding in the Hunter/Jumper disciplines along with playing many other high level sports. She spent most of her time growing up with her family's three horses Cherokee, Sheba, and Sugar and enjoying time with her families' dogs. She now rides for pleasure in her spare time. Sydney and her Blue Heeler Ghost have started learning agility and spend a lot of time hiking, fishing and enjoying the outdoors together with the rest of her family.
Dr. Sydney moved to Muskoka in the fall of 2023 and is thrilled to be joining the Stillwater Animal Chiropractic team. Her hope is that she can keep you and your four-legged friends moving their best and enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer.
